Hi Simon,

What they are doing is OK in a legal sense but you will need to have a look at your contract. If it states you get paid $26 plus Holiday Pay then you are correct. If it states your hourly rate includes holiday pay then they are correct.

Hi,
I have just been employed for a 4 week term by a recruitment company.
They said they would pay me 26 per hour, but on my payslip its only 24.07 and they have added holiday pay to make it up to 26 as a total rate.
Shouldn't I be getting paid holiday on top of the 26?
Any help much appreciated

Thanks for the above items but you need to be setup as a contributor first. I will send you an e-mail invite.

In order to get PayGlobal listed you must write at least one blog that might be of interest to viewers. The article should be something topical rather than just an ad for PayGlobal.

Once accepted you can then write about new features etc but the posts need to be informative.

Cheers
The PayMaster

Will be interesting to see what happens when the law comes in. I reckon many people will still talk and text while driving.

The simplest answer for the Police would be just confiscate the phone, with sim card, for at least a month or forever. That would make an impact on the problem. No fine, no de-merit points.
